So yesterday was Friday the 13th.
I don't beleive in that superstition. In fact:
-13 Is my lucky Number
-I had an Advanced Biology test yesterday, Which I aced. (a miracle, considering I wasn't able to find my bio book the night before, and was swineflu-ed for half of the unit)
-I had a math test yesterday, It went ok. I have a love-hate relationship with Advanced Algebra 2. Mostly love though xD
But a weird thing DID happen at viola lessons.
-I hadn't been to viola lessons in like a month, because of the play, and the swineflu.
-Though, I had been practicing. Well, not everything as much as I should have, but my solo Nonstop.
-My solo is Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring by J.S. Bach. (simple song, but complicated string crossings, shifting, and accidentals.)
-At viola lessons, I rocked my study, (which I went over like... twice) but FAILED FAILED FAILED my solo. Which I have played perfectly many times before.
-When I got in the car to leave, I was telling my mom about my failure, when Bach comes back from the dead.
-KPR or NPR or whatever 91.5 is at 6:30 PM is playing JESU FLIPPIN JOY OF FLIPPIN MANS PENGUIN FLIPPIN DESIRING.
-It was if Bach was trying to say *attitude Z-snap* "Mmmmmhhhmmm now that's how it's done, you butcherer of famous Baroque works!"
BUT I'M NOT DONE YET!
-My family went to Jade Garden for Chinese food, and my dad was listening to P.D.Q. Bach.
-What comes on the CD, but JESU FLIPPIN JOY OF FLIPPIN MANS PENGUIN FLIPPIN DESIRING!
Sweet Baby Jesus. I'll play it better next time.
P.S. "Here we come a-caroling among the leaves so green, here we come a wan'dring so fa-ir to_be seen, love and joy ^come to you, and to all your ^fam-ly too, for we greet you and send you a ha-ap-py new year, for we send, you, a, ha-ap-py new year. (rest) The holly and the Ivy, when they are both full grown, o-of all the trees, that are in the wood, the-e hol-ly bears the crown. (rest) (Shepherds in this ha-all here ye news to-da-a-a-ay coming o'er the hi-ills while the wind did brey) No-el No-el No-el, no-el we sing clear, Hap-py are all folk on ear-erth glad of heart and full of cheer (rest) go-ing o'er the hi-ills, through the milk white sno-o-o-ow (etc.) (rest) In the bleak mid win-ter, fro-sty wind made moan, earth stood hard as i-ron, wa-ter like a stone. (rest, snow had fallen) (repeat) (rest) Deck, the halls with boughs o-of hol-ly, fa la la la la, la la la la. Tis the sea-son to be-e jol-ly, fa la la la la, la la la la. (Don we now our bright apparel) Fa la la, fa la ^La, la la la. (sheilded from the winter weather) fa la la la la, la la la la." (here you go, and you should know the rest.)
- Mood:
Triumph - Reading: too many books for my own good.
